pros: small, convenient, 1080p, optical zoom, has tripod mount, picture quality is pretty good, sound quality is good.
cons: even fully zoomed out, the lens is (in my opinion) too narrow for a handheld camera. there are no threads on lens for filters, or a wide angle lens etc. auto focus is slow. battery is model-specific so i can't just carry around a couple spare AA's or something, the bottom where it mounts to a tripod isn't perfectly flat so its not as stable as it could be on a tripod.
